Day 1! New Challenge starts NOW!!

So I thought to myself.. Why wait for monday to start this challenge? I've since decided to start TODAY.

I have planned out my entire 30 days of work outs. I'd like to add that these workouts are only tentative. I will DEFINITELY be working out the day I had planned on doing so but if it's down-pouring on a day I planned to power walk outside.. guess what. I'm jumping on the treadmill. I've also downloaded a bunch of apps on my iPhone for working out specific parts of your body so I may opt to do one of those too. I'd also like to point out that if it says I am only on the treadmill for 30 mins on a certain day.. and if that day comes and I hit that 30 mins and want to keep powering through.. I'm going to keep going.

Also, Mondays I don't workout as I work 9-6 and then volunteer 6-10:30 so fitting something in there is just exhausting so I choose to have that as an off day (forever).

Day 12, 13, 14, 15, 16 AND 17

Day 12- Wednesday

I felt like poop on Wednesday.. I was let down from my gain and didn't feel like doing anything. Mom and I went to Costco and then to Fairview mall..(had fun OF COURSE). I got home and was exhausted. I knew I could have counted what I had done in walking as my activity of the day but I didn't. I forced myself to work out.  I must have whined (internally) at least 20 times how I didn't want to work out and one day wouldn't kill me and how I should just be lazy and watch TV.

Did I?

NOPE. I got off my ass.. got on my runners and got my ass on that treadmill and powered through for 30 minutes. I then put my ass on that exercise ball and worked out for another 15. And how did I feel after that? FANTASTIC!!!!!! GREAT SUCCESS!!! Don't expect results from excuses!

I was sooo happy I pushed myself to do that because I know the next day I would have regretted not doing it.

Day 13- Thursday

Thursday was a pretty busy day for me. I knew I wouldn't have time after work to do my workout as I was going straight to Jenns and there was a chance I would have to stay the night. I decided to get my activity in at work. I carried a bunch of books over to the opposite side of the office and rearranged and cleaned this bookshelf. I also got rid of about 200 magazines. Wasn't much but it still took me 40 mins :).

Thursday night I hung out with my bestie and we had a fabulous time (as always!) She is the best friend a girl could ever have :)

Day 14- Friday-

Friday was another crazy busy day :). I rushed to Jenns house immediately after work to dog sit her dogs for a few hours as she was in the hospital having a BABY!! Yes Friday was the day Jenn gave birth to Noah. He is so precious and beautiful. I love him sooo much already! I was sooo lucky to be able to see him. I went in with her parents so was one of the very first (I am so blessed). Jenn is such a champ!!! So happy for her and Brandin. They are going to make the most amazing parents ever :)

Friday I got in my activity at work by setting up our lunch room for the potluck and carrying food back and forth and back and forth and back and forth. This was the one AND ONLY time I have been happy that no one offered to help.. gave me more time to build up activity points lol I'm so lame. It was a great time though and everybody enjoyed themselves. And they enjoyed my mango/avocado salsa which was a huge hit!

Day 15- Saturday

Saturday I was pretty exhausted so I had a slow day. I woke up.. had breakfast and relaxed a bit. I ended up doing my zumba video which made me feel great :) (as per usual). I was also very lazy for the rest of the day and mainly watched Mad Men haha. I'm a bum.

Day 16- Sunday

Sunday was great! I woke up.. gave mom her Mother's Day presents and made her a crepe breakfast. It was great! I then took my doggy for a 35 minute power walk down the road. I also ended up going for a 20 minute stroll with Pete later that day.

It was such a beautiful day and it was really nice to sit out in the sun with my lovely family. I enjoy their company sooo much :). They are so special to me.

Went to Pete's house after dinner and watched Game of Thrones which was INSANE and then Mad Men which was pretty awesome as well :). Kinda sucks I have no episodes to catch up on :P

Day 17- Monday
Monday was stressful and busy. I counted my activity as my grocery shopping and lugging a shit load of groceries up the stairs.. That is always a fun job!! :|

Volunteering was okay. Crazy at first but I ended up having a very fun time.

Anyways.. there is my update :)

3.5 lbs down and I feeeel GOOOOD!!!

Hi all,

I am going to start off by saying that this week was a HUGE success with a HUGE loss! I am down a total of 3.5 lbs!!! I really can't believe it! It's such a great feeling. 3.5 lbs in 7 days!! That blows me away. Normally I would think "whoa! That's not healthy" but you have to keep in mind I have barely lost this year. My body has shrunk (FOR SURE) but the scale has not shown it. It is really nice to see that my hard work is paying off :).

I was actually surprised to see a loss as there is this female type thing that usually prevents me from losing at this point and time and blah blah blah (sorry guys).

I actually had a pretty stressful week and am very happy I was able to stick to my weight watchers goal. I did not eat any food (except 0 pt food) after 9pm all week. I really think this is why I had such a good week. I stuck to my plan.. I worked out.. I didn't use any of my extra 49 points and I succeeded! Yesterday was the worst. I ripped my pants (in the knee), got a cold sore and was PMSing like crazy. I was also having a bad day. I came home.. ate dinner, did Zumba, abreva'd the shit out of my lip and watched ringer.

I can already tell today is going to be a better day! HALLELUJAH!!

I would like to thank Autumn for helping me out SOO much this week and for motivating me to do better. She really helped me to stay on track! It's nice to have someone like this in your life! I really do encourage everybody who is trying to lose weight to have a motivation buddy. It really helps get things moving!

So what did I do this week to help me lose 3.5 lbs?

  • I tracked every single thing I ate.. no matter how big or how small
  • I didn't eat past 9pm (except for 0 pt foods)
  • I didn't use any of my extra 49 points (I don't really agree with those anyways)
  • I gained 30 activity points (holy crap! I just realized that one)
  • I didn't eat just because I felt emotional or upset.
  • I made sure to follow the Weight Watchers plan and ate the right amount of fruits, protein and dairy every single day
  • I didn't stress out or overthink :) I made do with what I had!
Those are sooo very simple! And I did it :)

This week for my Weight Watchers goal I am going to keep doing what I was doing and am not going to eat past 9pm unless it is a fruit or a veggie. I really would like to cut back on how much I eat at night and like I said before.. it takes 30 days to develop a habit and that is what I am going for :)

It's time I put the pedal to the metal and speed this process up. YES I CAN eat whatever I want. Am I going to? NO. I wan't to lose weight not maintain or have a small drop every week. I am going to stick to my plan and get the mentality I had when I first started weight watchers back. Time to cut back on junk, eating out and emotional eating. I joined weight watchers originally saying I could afford it if I cut out all of the fast food and eating out. Slowly I started forgetting about that and now I'm not going to anymore. Why waste money on food that is bad for you? It doesn't make sense when you're spending money to lose weight. Yeah I'd love to eat McDonalds or Harvey's or Taco Bell every week but for me and my personal weight loss this won't be an option anymore :).There are other healthy options I could go for instead of eating fast food... like a pita or a salad. I'm not saying this is a "forever" thing but for right now this is what I need to do for myself. Once and a while is okay but even weekly is too often.

This ones a long one.. Day 24/25/26/27/28

I am a blog slacker :|

Though as I said before this was one of the busiest weeks of my work life!! Any spare time I had was used to relax or spend with the ones I love :)

Let me catch you up!

Wednesday was a LOT of fun. We had our Primal Leap Day Potluck and had a great turnout and the food was awesome!!! At around 2:15ish the power went out and no one really knew what to do so we just kind of chilled out. Ended up with a bunch of people hanging out in the open area playing music, singing and doing shots. It was a ton of fun :). I left at 4:30 and went to visit my grandparents for dinner. I didn't stay too long as there was a freezing rain warning.

Wednesday night I got my workout in. I did a 30 minute work out on the treadmill. (my go to lately).

Thursday was the busiest of all days. I had a very tight deadline and had to submit things to my boss. As usual my hangouts with Jenn are thursday nights so I had to go for a quick walk during work. I ended up getting 5 minutes in and ended up staying an extra hour and a half. Did I mention how crazy busy I was? lol. We also started a coding challenge at work that day so I needed to support that. By the time 6:30 rolled around I was so happy to be able to leave and go visit my best friend Jenn :). We had a fun evening as usual!

Friday was the biggest relief for me. I wanted to do a happy dance. It was still a very busy day but it ended very well :). We picked the winners of the coding challenge and those who won really deserved it! I came home expecting to do Zumba with my mom on PS3 but apparently you need a PS3 move thing to go with it. (which just doesn't seem worth the extra $60). I told her to return it and we'll get the DVD kit. Instead I opted for another 30 minute workout on the treadmill. I went to Petes that night and had a jolly old time as usual. He really is fabulous and makes me feel incredible! I'm such a lucky gal!

Saturday I had expected to go to St. Thomas with my grandparents to visit my great aunt and uncle but apparently we were expecting a storm so they cancelled. Instead I decided to get my workout in early. I went downstairs on got on the treadmill for 30 minutes while watching the Bachelor. Anyone else watch this show? Anyone else think he's the stupidest idiot ever? He makes REALLY BAD choices. But to each their own I guess.

Anyways I got that in pretty early and decided to read for a bit. I became addicted to this book on Friday.. called I've got your number- Sophie Kinsella. She is my favourite author and writes the most hilarious books ever. I highly recommend them to any female who likes chiclit. I started this book on Friday and JUST finished it. It was soo hard to put down.

On Saturday Pete came to pick me up around 2ish and we went to the grocery store to pick up supplies for dinner. We made Steak, twice baked potatoes and bruschetta. I must admit that it was friggin awesome and we both did an amazing job :).

I actually had a "first time" experience last night. And no it is NOT dirty (I'm looking at you stef hahahah). I watched Lord of the rings for the first time. Pretty good movie :)

Anyways I kinda want to speed this up as my body HURTS right now from the workout I just got in.

Today my mom picked me up from Pete's and we went out for breakfast at Chez Coras which was fabulous!! After that we went dress shopping which was fun. Especially considering I finally found a dress for my cousins wedding! Its hot and I feel really sexy in it!! WHOOT :D

I came home and grabbed my exercise ball and did some working out in my room. O M G. haha I love working out on that ball and you can REALLY feel it after. It felt sooo good!! I got 20 minutes in on that :)

Anyways I'm headed to Pete's so I must go!

Day 18, 19 & 20!

Hey all!

Sorry I've been lagging on posts but I'm super busy!

I've been strong on the workouts and have NOT missed a day!! whooottt!!! It really is becoming a habit now. I'm feeling great and my body is already feeling more toned. Especially in my legs.

:D!

Feels good.

Anyways I'm going to quickly go through the workouts I've done in the last few days.. just to share.

Day 18- Thursday
Thursdays are usually pretty busy for me as I work and then go straight to Jenn's house. I was able to get in a quick 15 minute powerwalk around the block. I was surprised that it didn't take me longer... but was happy I got that in.

Had a great evening with my bestie.. as usual! She is THE GREATEST!!!!

Day 19- Friday
Friday I decided to go a bit harder as I had a shorter workout the day before. I did almost 30 mins on the treadmill and then busted out the exercise ball for another 2o mins. At the end of that I felt soo tired but pumped at the same time. My stomach hurt later that night as I did 140 situps as part of my workout. I also did this move my cousin told me about. I took the ball and lifted it with my legs (while layin flat) and reached up to get it and put it near the ground above my head. Then reversed it. It burrned lifting my legs up. haha but felt good! I also did this butt exercise but its hard to explain.. haha. Felt great!

Day 20- Saturday
Today I had a fun day! went out with my mom and grandparents and then came home to work out. I got the 30 mins on the treadmill and then did 10 mins on the ball. I did 120 sit ups and 40 pushups.

Its getting more fun as I go along!

Tonight Pete and I went to see the movie Wanderlust. It was hilarious! I definitely recommend it!! If you've seen it. Paul Rudd in the mirror scene.. LMAO. Too good.

Day 17

Hey all,

Today was weigh in day and since I started this challenge I've actually GAINED weight. It's upsetting but I understand.

First week I gained 3 lbs and this week I lost about 1.5 lbs. I honestly don't feel like I've gained as my clothes still feel pretty comfortable and some things even fit looser. My legs are feeling really toned also so I'm thinking that I'm either gaining muscle or retaining fluids.. or both!!

Anyways.. I got my work out in and did a quick 25 minute workout on the treadmill and felt good after :).

I'm going to get back to what I was doing but have a good night!

Day 15!

OFFICALLY HALF WAY!!! HUZZZZAHHH!!!!

hehehe. Feels sooo good.. and I love working out! I feel like after this challenge I will still want to work out every single day.

Today I got together with one of my closest friends Amber for breakfast and had a marvellous time! (as usual). I love spending time with her. She is truly an amazing human being and makes me feel so good when I am with her. If you are reading this girl I LOVE YOU!! Also.. would you like some jam or ketchup with your bagel?? haha Yes, that is what the server asked her.

Anyways.. I came home and worked out right away. I got in a 32 minute workout.. haha odd number but I like to do intervals on the treadmill.. like for 3 mins I'll go this speed or for so and so minutes I'll speed walk uphill etc. So that may be an example of why some of my workout times are weird.. hahah but it felt good :)

I love the feeling of being ridiculously sweaty from a workout.. makes me feel like I've accomplished something. One main thing I've noticed from the first challenge I had is that now when I workout I become sweaty but not winded which is a good feeling as I can go for much longer periods of time :)!

Tomorrow is Zumba again. I can't wait to shake my booty!!!! ha

Anyways.. I should head off.. I'm at Pete's house right now :).

Day 11 & 12

Hey all,

Sorry I didn't post yesterday but I was soooooooooo busy. I was literally running around all day and then was with my bestie all night :) I only got a quick 5 minute power walk around the block yesterday.. bare minimum but I still squeezed it in :)

I had a great time with Jenn last night (as usual). We had salads for dinner.. watched our shows.. I did my nails and then we watched Jersey Shore which is ALWAYS fun ahaha.

Today I booked off so I will have an EXTRA long weekend! I slept in until 8:45 and then woke up and had breakfast. After that I got in my workout and finished watching the Bachelor. oooh those females are sooo ridiculous lol. I hopped on the treadmill for 35 minutes which felt good :). I could have gone longer but had plans to meet up with my friend Shannon. I had an amazing time :)! It was soooo good to catch up! It had been months! After that I went and got my eyebrows threaded. I feel so much better now :)

Tonight Mom and I are going to go see the movie the Vow. I am sooo looking forward to it! I have a thing for Channing Tatum.. hes yummy lookin! hahaha

Anyways.. I should get going. Just wanted to make sure I updated!

Day 9!

Holy Crap!! It's day 9!! Honestly it feels like day 3-4 haha.. I can't believe I am almost 1/3 of the way through!! Thats kinda crazy!

Anyways.. I've had a rough time lately. I dumped a friend.. which was a hard decision but the right one. I'm so happy I have great friends to keep my mind occupied. Last night I got some pretty bad news. Someone I had worked with in the past (they were my immediate supervisor) passed away in a horrible way which I don't even want to go into :(. It's very sad and upsetting and I've been emotional and confused all day. I feel like I'm still in shock.

I feel like because of a lot of the things going on in my life lately my eating habits have been kind of off because I was emotional eating. I came home last night and ate 3/4 of a box of mike and ikes and almost 1/2 a bad of coffee crisp minis. I was really upset. I counted my points though.

Today was hard and only one person really noticed something was wrong. I'm kind of happy no one else noticed as I didn't really want to explain why. It was my closest friend at work and I'm happy he was there to listen to me vent. I knew that when I got home I needed to get on that treadmill and push myself. I needed to clear my mind. I was on there for 41 minutes.. I could have gone longer but I knew I needed to come see Pete (which is where I'm at now).

Also meaning I should go spend some time with my man. Happy Valentines Day all! Today we're not really doing anything. I told Pete that I wanted to just chill out. In reality.. Pete makes me feel good and feel happy every single day of the year so I don't need some fake holiday to reassure me that he loves me :) I know it!

Day 6, 7 & 8

Hi all,

Hope you all enjoyed the weekend.. and if you're in Ontario.. this dumping of snow we got!! I knew once I got excited for spring weather we would get a bunch of snow and I wouldn't like it. I was right!

Anyways.. let me tell you about my last 3 days of working out.

Day 6
Saturday was a pretty busy day. I got together with 2 of my friends for breakfast and then had a day full of shopping! It was great! I got home around 3pm and jumped on the treadmill right away. I did 20 minutes on there. Felt good!

Day 7
Sunday was ridiculous. I had the wonderful idea of going for a walk.. except none of the sidewalks had been cleaned which made walking to the store crazy! ahahaha It took us (Pete & I)about 30 minutes to get there and back. I think in some spots the snow was 1/2 foot deep? It was definitely a difficult walk. The moment I stepped into his place was amazing. HAH

Day 8
I already got my workout in today :) During my lunch I went for a 20 minute walk around the block. 1/2 uphill. It felt great and its a beautiful day.. but that wind is killler!!!!!! My face was sooo cold! Oh well.. I got it in and don't need to worry about it as I have a CRAZY day ahead of me. I'll be at the office until 6pm tonight and will be going straight to ROOF to volunteer. I won't get home to 11 and by that point I will be exhausted and prob not in the mood to workout.

Anyways :) My weekend was fantastic! I spent a lot of time with Pete which is always amazing. We made dinner together on Saturday and it was sooo yummy! I found this blog that has amazing recipes and shows the PointsPlus+ value on every single recipe! VERY useful!!

Day 5!

Hey all!

Today is day 5 of my workout challenge! I got my workout in this evening after work. Jumped on the treadmill for 35 minutes :). It felt great! Usually when I go that long I get extremely out of breath. This time it wasn't hard at all! Except for the last 5 minutes where I cranked the speed.

I feel so good to be back at it again. I feel like a big part of my life was missing and has been returned! Not going to let anything come in my way now!

Today I had a few people tell me that it looks like I had lost weight again. Its such a good feeling when I hear this. Motivates me to keep going and to push myself harder! I'm also noticing a difference in my clothes. I feel like the clothes I had bought because my old clothes were too tight... are too tight! A lot of my pants feel looser and some shirts sit differently and longer. It's a good feeling!!! I know I have some summer clothes I was keeping to fit into someday! Here's hoping for this summer!

Anyways.. I'm at Pete's right now. I think we're going to watch the movie Friends with Benefits tonight. Should be good! I love Mila Kunis!

Day 2!

Hey all,

Today is day 2 of my workout challenge and it went very well!

I jumped on the treadmill for 30 minutes and walked/ran. It was good!! I have to say my THIGHS ARE BURNING! Zumba and the speed walking back to back may not be the best idea hahah. I think tomorrow I will do something a bit different.. probably an upper body workout.

I also have a massage tomorrow which I am looking forward to.. It will feel nice on my sore muscles! :)

Anyways I should go.. I'm watching the show Ringer! I love this show sooo much!

Day 30- Challenge COMPLETE!!!

I have officially completed my first 30 day challenge! I have worked out every single day for 30 days!!! WHOOT!!!

What a fantastic feeling!!

Yesterday I got on the treadmill and pushed myself for 25 minutes .. my legs were burning. Frig it hurts on an incline!! Then I got off and did 120 situps.. (3 days in a row). I was literally in soo much pain I was yelling out "GAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!" everytime I did a situp lol

How do I feel now that this challenge is over? I feel amazing.. 30 days in a row is a huge accomplishment! I am kind of looking forward to not having to work out EVERY SINGLE DAY buuuuut I am still planning on working out 4-5 times a week.

Have I noticed any changes? Yes! First off I lost 5 lbs! People are telling me they are seeing a difference. I go out in public places and guys check me out EVERY DAY!! It feels good (even though it only matters to me that one guy checks me out heheh :P). I've also noticed a difference in the way my shirts fit on my waist.. and my tightest skinny jeans are now loose.. WHOOT!!

Such a good feeling.

I have a new 30 day challenge I have planned out.. :) I will keep you posted.. it is not fitness related but I will be visiting the 30 day workout challenge again in January.

Until then I will keep you posted on my workout, weight loss success stories and everything else :)

Day 28 & 29

Hi all!!

Soo Wednesday was a crazy busy day.. My parents left for Jamaica and I am left at home with Brady.. soo I had to rush home.. take him for a walk.. load him up into the car and take him to my grandparents for our usual dinner date :). It was good and I loooove what they made. "Romanian Pizza" Its basically cornmeal covered in cheese and baked.. mmmmmmmmmmm soooooooooooo friggin good. Usually there is bacon in it.. not this time though. meh!

I also weighed in Wednesday morning and I'm down .5 lbs! That makes 5 lbs total since the beginning of this work out challenge!! It doesnt seem like a lot but Im nearing 40 lbs total so it seems to be coming off much slower lately :)

When I came home from my grandparents I jumped on the exercise ball and did 120 situps in 5 minutes. It is the bare minimum but I still got in two 10-15 minute walks with brady.. so I don't feel TOO bad :)

On Thursday I had a really shitty day.. I was majorly down in the dumps :(. I've been feeling really lonely.. and I guess when you only hang out with a dog it gets to you.

After work my boss, and coworker Georgina went shopping for our Adopt-a-family :). I got home and walked Brady for 15 minutes.. It's really hard to walk him in the dark with no street lights whatsoever.. I use the flashlight on my phone that does out every 45 seconds :|. I came back in and made dinner (french onion soup mmmm) .. and then jumped on the treadmill for 15 minutes.. Afterwards I got on the exercise ball and did 120 sit ups. Felt great.

I then got super lonely and depressed and cried myself to sleep.. being alone isn't my thing. I also had nightmares last night... One where I murdered someone! One where a gang was after me.. and then another where I was kidnapped! It was freaky :( Not a fan.

Today is my big day and I wanted to make a seperate post .. I will do that one later :)

The man is on his way over.. soooooo I should clean up a bit before he comes!

Day 25 & 26 & 27

Hi all,

It snowed, it snowed!! *Jumps for joy*

YES I am one of those people that loves snow!! I can't wait to get a pile of it and go snowmobiling!!!

Anyways.. I've been going strong on the working out. On Sunday I really pushed myself running on the treadmill and speedwalking uphill. My feet/ankles HURT SO BADLY!! :( I just kept getting sharp pains in my legs.. it was a very uncomfortable feeling.. Oh well.

At least my steelers won! I was happy about that :)

Mondays are always hard for me as they are my longest day, so I decided to go for a stroll with my lovely friend Samantha at lunch :) It was rather cold.. but nice! :)

ROOF was good :). I truly love volunteering there!

Anyways.. today I did a smaller workout as my legs were still hurting and did 120 sit ups on my exercise ball. Not sure if my core is getting stronger or if its the fact that the ball doesnt have as much air in it as last time.. but it was VERRRY easy :). I powered through!

Anyways.. time to get back to work!

Day 20 & 21

Hi all,

Sorry for the late post again! I'm a mad slacker!! :P

Tuesday I jumped on the treadmill for a 25 minute power walk and was dripping in sweat towards the end.. GAH!!! It was exhausting. I was going to go visit my man after but the freezing rain was a bit intense and I didn't even make it to the end of my road before having to turn back.. made me sad!

Wednesday me and my best friend went for a 30 minute walk with her dog Ace. It was rather cold but we made it through :).

Anyways.. This is going to be a short one as I'm about to head off to go meet my mom :). We're going to go see Breaking Dawn tonight with the girls!! YAY!!

Day 15- 1/2 way point and 1.5 lbs down!

Hi all,

Yesterday I had a GREAT day!! (except for one minor thing that I cannot control nor will I talk about!) I woke up after having THE most amazing sleep (9hrs), hoped on the scale and saw I was 1.5 lbs down! I did a little happy dance heheh! It's such a good feeling!! I had a great day at work and then went and visited my grandparents for dinner.. Ribs and mashed potatoes for dinner!! YUM... maybe not the healthiest but I knew what I was having so I planned my day accordingly and even had 2 WW points left over at the end of the day!

Anyways.. after dinner with my grandparents I went on a little shopping trip at Costco with my mom. twas gooood! I then went home and worked it on the treadmill for a good 26 mins! ( hahah I calculated that its an extra activity point to do the extra minute.. sooo worth it!)

I'm a very happy gal and hope to see another drop by the end of the week but won't be that upset if I stay the same.. So far I've lost 3 lbs since I've started this challenge! WHOOT:D

Day 13 & 14

Sorry I've been such a shitty blogger! I've actually been getting over a flu bug so haven't wanted to do a thing.

I stayed home from ROOF on Monday as I didn't want to go in and spread my bug to the homeless youth.. that just wouldn't be fair. I stayed home in bed and gamed playing MW3 for hours. haha.. I'm a bit of a loser.

I did manage to drag my butt out of bed to do 120 situps.. OUCH. It hurts today lol..

Today was a good day.. I had another person tell me that it shows I'm losing weight *happy dance*

BOOYA!!!!

I did a 25 minute workout on the treadmill tonight.. felt good but I did feel a bit lightheaded after. I can really feel a difference from when I first started working out to now.. I feel like my legs have more strength.. I can work out for longer and the big one is my motivation. I look forward to working out now because I can FEEL a difference! :) I love it!!

Anyways.. tomorrow is my weigh in day.. I'm kinda nervous as there are things that happen that affect whether or not i lose weight. Won't go into detail but .. BLAH!

Day 7 & 1.5 lbs down!

Hey all,

So for my workout yesterday I decided to hit the treadmill. Honestly it was really hard because my dad had just built a fire in our basement so I was SOO SOOO SOOO HOT!!!

It was a really uncomfortable feeling :(. I could only last 20 minutes.

I think tonight I'm REALLY going to push myself.

With that said.. I have official completed 7 days of workouts! I'm so proud of myself for sticking to it and even prouder to have done waayyyy more than 5 minutes every day :).

On the weight watchers front, Wednesday morning are my weigh in days. I got on the scale and I am 1.5 lbs down this week! I was a bit disappointed as I did expect to lose more .. but what can you do! Its still a loss and not a gain so I am currently VERY happy about that :)

Anyways.. today is a very, very busy day for me so I will update you later!

Day 1!

A few months back I received a great idea from a colleague. He is VERY inspirational and he gave me the idea to start 30 day challenges.

I started my first 30 day challenge and was motivated... It was fitness related and I started off strong but midway through I started to get lazy and failed. :( I didn't really think of starting a new one until I was down in the dumps and feeling lost.. feeling unmotivated. I knew I needed the extra kick to get my butt in gear. I also knew that if I started a blog that I would have some friends/followers to support me and help me out along the way.

So here we are! Welcome to my new blog The Challenge to Change. Here I will post about my challenges and will also post about the changes I'd like to make in my life.

First Challenge

For the next 30 days I am going to exercise for a MINIMUM of 5 minutes a day. NO MATTER WHAT! I will find the time. whether it be in the morning, during my lunch break, or in the evening.

Day 1

Today I was on the treadmill for 25 minutes and felt great! :) I honestly can't wait to work out tomorrow.. I'm so excited!


I know I can do this and I want to share it with you. On thanksgiving I set a 15 lb weight loss goal for December 25th and I'm already 4 lbs on my way there! :)

Anyways, Im going to finish catching up on the show Ringer.. (I can't get enough!)
